What’s your athletic background?
Professional dancer and choreographer during late-teen and early 20’s… after knee surgery relied on low impact gym work and climbing, until I got introduced to Crossfit!!
What was your first experience with CrossFit?
Apart from all soreness… first time with the Foundation Class, I realized I wasn’t as strong as I thought I was, and while seeing the WOD Class running in parallel with all those people doing such cool moves, I thought I wanted that 🙂
When did you start CrossFit?
Why did you choose CrossFit Schaffhausen?
Cos’ I always heard Canadians are good people!
What keeps you coming back?
It’s addictive, the feeling you can always do a bit better, along with that great energy with such a motivated group of people.
How do you like to spend your free time?
Working out, Travelling, Cooking (and lately, Coaching too)
What are one or two improvements you have seen in your life since starting CrossFit?
My energy level throughout the day, overall performance and my posture.
What are your goals for 2019?
Keep on getting stronger, work on my weaknesses: to get that strict PullUp!
What would you say to someone thinking about starting CrossFit?
To hurryyyy! .. That I cannot think of anybody for which CrossFit would not be a good idea. No matter the likes, personality type, age or condition, there’s just something right about moving your body functionally in the way that it’s supposed to move. It’s true that ‘‘one-size don’t fit all’’, but surely CrossFit fits all-sizes.
What’s your favorite & least favorite CrossFit movement?
Favorite: The Snatch… Least Favorite: Barbell Thruster
What’s your favorite cheat meal?
Oh boy: A big, thick and saucy BBQ Ribs, accompanied with red wine, and a Cinnamon Roll Cake for dessert!
